You are kidding, right?! This refers to tests undertaken in optimal conditions and is pretty technical, so i'm not sure something this specific relates to anyone without a cellar or any sort of cooling equipment...

store in refrigerator flat rotate 90 deg every 2 months. I had a bottle of 1991 that my wife and I drink for our 20th anniv. It was fantastic !!!!!

Resting on their side didn't seem to harm these bottles of Verve Cliquot. 230 years is a pretty good run.
