Can we "enter the comp" twice?
As a lover of Rolex green colour, i would love a 116710 with Green/Black ceramic bezel (please ignore this post if a 2nd entry isn't allowed ) |

Throw out the new Explorer II 42mm and start over with a 40mm case, add square markers and old style hands. And throw in a non-ceramic rotating bezel.

the pic you got from WUS is a Steinhart (makes solid watches btw), which clearly is a Rolex Homeage.

I would add those tritinium tubes to the explorer to make it a TRUE splunker watch.. That way if you are in the cave for a extended period of time you can still tell the time instead of the lumen that wears off. That is what I would improve..

I would like to see a new style Sub that is 42mm with a white dial and a brushed SS bezel. Probably doesn't sounds right in writing but I can see it in my mind

O.K. for me start off with a SubC:
1. Make the case 42mm; 2. Take out the dial and hands and throw them away; 3. Take off the ceramic bezel insert and throw it away; 4. Take out the movement and throw it away; 5. Insert a new 3187 movement ; 6. Slot in a 1655 Explorer dial and hand set and make them super sized maxi, I mean big to fit the new 42mm case!; 7. Get the GMT-IIC bezel and put it on - supersized for the new 42mm case. 8. Get the width of the bracelet and supersize it to make it wider to accord with the new lines of the 42mm case. 9. I'm done! It's almost like the new 2011 Explorer II....but its just done right

I would change the look of the clasp on the 116610 so that it would have link looking pattern ( like the old one) instead of the smooth one it has.
Looks better imho!!

Tidal Complication
I think a Sub with a tidal complication would be the best addition to the line. Since the algorithms vary by location, owners would need access to a Rolex website to select the right user adjustments in setting the complication. But it would be useful.

GMT IIC
Brushed center links, less wide triangle marker, satin bezel with smaller numbers, 120 click bezel.

Hard to improve on perfection, but I'd like to see slightly larger plots on the 14060
and maybe glidelock?
