The name of the country could change, and though Rolex sales would continue, it would be an accurate statement to say that they were discontinued in the US.
Trying to think of some good new names here...  I always liked Vespucci Land... How about the The NSOC (Nation South of Canada)? |

Just realized that according to the Mayan calendar, Rolex won't be sold anywhere in the world after sometime in 2012, I forget what date exactly.

Did you hear wrong? Maybe that sales person was saying a particular model is not being made anymore hence being discontinued? Surely no one in their right mind would make up such an unbelievable lie about Rolex being discontinued in the USA!
