They're common. I was in a restaurant in South Beach the other week and it was a sea of Rolex's and Panerai's. It looked like a Rolex AD convention. And this is the same for a lot of well trafficked places.
The imagery that accompanies Rolex wearers - flash, no taste, and more money than sense. If you can live with that then keep buying and wearing! |

I actually don't think they're jealous. People feel the same about BMW owners. they just don't want to be associated with that kind of imagery.
The good thing is that for the majority a Rolex is invisible - they're not looking for one and don't see them even when they're right in front of them on someone's wrist. |
