Just get a aftermarket clasp. You already have it on an aftermarket rubbah!

I like them!!!!!!!
Price sounds decent for a quality fitted piece made for specific model Rolexes. You can't compare to a generic strap that does not fit the case. Not even in the same ballpark. GT |

Anyone know what the rubber strap for a new TUDOR goes for? I mean, for sure the "B" is gotta be in the range of the TUDOR strap. I likit, and yeah, its overpriced too...

Yes, a Rubber B should fit a 14060. Contact Benjamin via the website. The 14060 has a slightly different case than the 16610, but I believe he has a strap for it.

Thanks Sheldon. I read your review and it looks like a great strap. My concern is the lug holes location on the 14060m versus the 16610. Same issue of trying to get a SEL bracelet to fit on a 14060m!

I think the strap looks quite good, and I don't think that the price is too bad for a design that is specifically made for Rolex. At least if the quality is high.. |

I dont like them at all. Sport Rolexes belong on Oyster bracelets. period. IMO these rubber straps are overpriced and ugly. Doesnt make sense to me why somebody would buy one...

I guess they made it for Rolex so the price tag has to be expensive. I personally wouldn't pay $220 for it, just too much for a rubber strap.

Makes sense to me...
I spoke to one of the owners the day I ordered mine, he told me that they spent a year and a half developing them with a swiss manufacturer,, that could be why the price is a bit higher than we'd expect...[/QUOTE]
A year to make a Rolex and a year and a half to make the rubber strap for it. |

I like them and I don't think $220 is totally over the top, ask around and find out much Breitling or Omega charge for their rubber straps.
I don't like the feel of my non-sel Explorer II bracelet, i'm thinking of getting one of these to replace it.

Looks pretty good on the IIc, but subs and dwellers need the isofrane when going rubber.

I agree with the isofrane on the SubC! I think the isofrane works better on the SubC due in part at least to the wider lugs. Really gives it a complete "tool watch" look.

Personally, I would only put a rubber strap on a submariner, any one.....& I would
go for the Isofrane strap......looks made for a dive watch!

Overpriced, bad name, but the deal breaker is having to remove my clasp to make it work. Taking the bracelet off is enough work, but dismantling the clasp is too much!

clasps
Yes, chatted with Benjamin about an aftermarked clasp and any clasp other than a Rolex clasp looks like, well, a cheap aftermarket clasp. He also mentioned that an extra clasp increases the price.
For the ones who have not seen it, I do have a DIY and some thoughts on the strap posted at http://www.minus4plus6.com/rubberb.htm I have been wearing mine for more than two weeks and it looks good, works well with my existing Rolex clasp, and frankly, dismantling the clasp was not a big deal.. This strap is much different than any other strap that I have used (which I chronicled in my review)... -Sheldon
