I guess the Sub five tick LV "rule" does not apply to other sports models.

That is what I like about this forum - people teaching other people.

Congrats mrbill, I am glad your learning!!!... Well of course it took longer than 20 seconds... i was exaggerating but the representative did take the end links off check serial numbers etc. I'm sure he worked there long enough and dealt with enough GMT Master II's to tell a real one from a fake one in less than 2-3 min. Anyways, thanks for all your help, I'm glad its real!

Honestly, i was to busy looking at the other beautiful watches i didn't really pay attention to what exactly he was doing with my watch. hahaha

I still think this watch is a fake.

Maybe we're talking about different things, but the spacing and "ticks" seem identical to this one, for example: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=174986

You really have to be careful about making such statements because people use this forum as a resource and often come from the outside world through Google searches. They'll take your unqualified statement and run off with it as gospel. If you're not truly an expert on the subject, do some research and backup your statement so at least it is qualified by the research you've done.

Welcome to the TRF.

Bezel turns both ways. Bezel has stops, not sure I would call clicks, maybe ticks. ;-?

Next time I get mine out of the bank box I will check, not sure the number on the band is correct.

An AD should have no problems authenticating.

Take Care,

Mike

First, dam you really like to troll don't you? Are you seriously retarded? Don't you know what, get out of my thread means? Second, mrbill2mrbill2 now knows that he came in here and gave false information without backing up his statements. Seriously, if I'm a waste of your time don't respond and get out of my thread. Go troll elsewhere.

We've had enough name calling. Next one gets you booted out of here.

And BTW, this thread has now run its course.
