Sub-C. There is no comparison here for a daily wearer. The IWC is a beauty but it doesn't compare with the Sub as an all rounder IMHO

As someone who would never wear a SS bracelet watch with a suit - IWC. Logic: I would wear a leather strap watch casually and with a suit, and I'd wear a SS bracelet watch casually, but not with a suit.
So, all-rounder, IWC.

Good one. The sub is a bit more butch, the IWC clearly more refined. So I guess whatever your preference and daily requirement. For my life a bit more rugged is quite suitable, if my life would evolve around office and fine entertainment I would choose the IWC. But they both work in the or opposite worlds in a pinch. The obvious advice is a tough and a dress one, so you have a choice. In the meantime, choose the third way and get a Explorer.

I just came across this Thread that I started 4yrs ago. How funny. It's a long winded sorry but I purchased the Rolex Sub C at first however it just never really sang to me. I am probably not on the same page as most but I felt as though it was too small for me. I wish it was 42mm in a perfect world. With that being said, I sold it after a few months and purchased the IWC. I absolutely love it and I have no regrets. I also own the Tudor Pelagos and I am in a delemma with my next purchase. I am deciding between the Omega 9300 Speedmaster or the Rolex Explorer 2. Thanks everyone for asking!
