Glad to see you finally got your DSSD you've been talking about. Way jealous of that timepiece!

I think you're right, the DSSD is way over scrutinized by a lot, but I don't find the model to be obstrusive at all. I've tried it on many times as well, and think it fits my wrists just fine.

Great photos and I couldn't agree more. The DSSD was my choice and there were plenty to choose from at that price.

Thanks one and all!

The DSSD is indeed a joy!

I've noticed there are many Aussies who choose the DSSD, do you do so because of the Glidelock?

It must come in handy when your wrist swells from going to warm to bloody warm and humid to insanely humid

I can't wait to take it to Sydney over Christmas, it'll be going in the water heaps!!

In summer time in Sydney, your arm wont be the only thing that would be swelling from time to time! Lots of eye candy thats for sure!!!

The glidelock was part of it for me, but the overall combination of a watch that is a tank but also looks fantastic was probably more what did it for me. I was actually debating between 2 very different watchs, the DSSD and the Bentley for Breitling 6.75. In the end I wanted something that is happy to go to the bottom of my pool, my spa and wherever in the ocean and still look good on my wrist at the clients (anything that takes the focus away from my ugly pate eh!)

I love it! But I have to say I am doing an inordinate amount of thinking about the possibility of another Rolex from davidsw while in Orlando.

Your DSSD should have a good time here in Aus in the summer time. Mine is off to the USA (Orlando, Nassau, Seattle, LA) for 4 weeks shortly and it has decided to take me along for the ride!

May I ask which dial is on your DSSD? 1st or 2nd? Just curious. Regardless, it look amazing on you!!! I about to jump the fence on the DSSD. That will be my next purchase for sure. Just want to be more informed before I take the jump.

Once again, that watch looks amazing on you! Great choice!

Looks great on you. The DSSD is a great watch and I agree; it's not too tall.

Plus, it's tall for a reason so I'm cool w/ that.

Awesome! I really tried to make one fit me but with a 6.5" wrist it was a no go. I ended up with an SD4000.
