Suh was involved in a car accident this past weekend in his hometown. Although it happened at about 1:30 AM, alcohol was said to not be involved. The report I read said he simply lost control of his 1970 Chevelle SS. I can see how that could happen with a car that has that much power. However, this guy is building a pretty convincing case that he lacks judgement and control of himself.
Personally, I think he is an idiot. I'm surprised he plays in the NFL and not the NBA.

Maybe he was upset because the Lions still managed to get over 100 yards in penalties without him?

I also heard he wasnt injured so this strikes me as the media jumping on a non-event.

Folks, He plays on the line in the NFL. He is arguably the best lineman in the league. He gets double teamed at least half of every game. 98% of all the crap that goes on in the trenches of any given game none of us will know about. It's about attitude and moving the other man or getting around him. I don't condone what he did as being good for the game or for himself, and yes it was stupid, but I'm not in his shoes. Anyone of us would love to have him on our favorite pro team. He has a tremendous talent that is amazing to watch. I think he will take his lashings and move on, and learn to control his temper.

I don't support his "stomp." But as mentioned above, he has hurt no one. He did throw down QB's BEFORE the whistle. Just a reminder- if this is to a RB or WR no foul.
And a couple of his flagged plays were legitimate hits. The hit on Cutler last year was while he was running, in bounds and running full speed. Pushing a player like that is not considered "dirty" yet Suh gets a fine for it. Maybe the league is trying to tone down hits... If so, then change the rules to do so.

Check out the sequence in this link:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/9...ted-suspension

Again, what Suh did wasn't right, but it is his first flag after a whistle. He blew his top - no doubt. But other players throw punches- no suspension- hit people in the groin- no suspension, etc.
The League is just to dang worried about protecting Offense and QB's. Suh, as a rookie, played hard and is paying for being an aggressive D player.

The stomp looked pretty thuggish to me. It looked as if he also grabbed the other player's helmet.

It was pretty funny to read his lips after the incident, too.

At least I used it as a "teaching moment" for my kids about sportsmanship.

There was nothing clean about Suh's facemask/helmet takedown of Jake Delhomme. Jake was lucky he didn't sustain an injury to his neck or knee. Can't see anyone being able to justify that as just a "hard and clean" football play.

He has excellent taste in cars. Although I think he brings new light to the saying "I'm going to sue(Suh) you!". I made a funny.
