If you have the wrists to pull these off, and if this is your one and only watch, then go DSSD.

If this is a second or third watch for "fun"/weekends, then go PloProf.

The POC comment? Not meant to be derogatory toward the watch, it's just what I read when I see POC.

I have owned a DSSD and tried on the new Omega PO three handed model. Of the two I would choose the 45.5mm PO with 8500 movement. IMHO the face of the DSSD is to small for the size of the watch.

if price is a consideration -
a standard Omega Planet Ocean - with no close second -

then you got money left over to buy a used SUB to go with it

IMO - the Deepsea is top heavy, and the bracelet narrows in the back making it worse. Probably the most uncomfortable dive watch I have worn.
At 45mm - the PO is VERY comfortable. And if you put the Omega rubber strap on it, very light weight.

Omega is nice but Deapsea really stands out from the four.

Usually I'd go for the Rolex, but in this case I'd go for either the IWC or the Omega PO. Personally I don't like the look of the Ploprof and I find the Deepsea just too bulky.

Another possibility is the 1000m Pam 243.

Or, the discontinued 194, 2500m!

Or the ridiculous 4000m Hublot!

If size doesn't matter, you should get a classic 14060M.

I would have to pass on all of them.

I'll just never wear a clock on my wrist in any foreseeable circumstance and the fashion does not suit me.

I do admire the technology and craftsmanship, however.

PloProf for me, you already have several Rolex judging from you signature and the Omega PloPlor is a nice change that most certanly will atract attention...

Put a orange IsoFrane or orange Omega rubber on and you have a really cool looking diver!

I want to try on a DSSD to see if it makes my left hand knuckles drag on the ground.

I`m thinking on the Rolex Deepsea for my next watch.

Well I am 100% sure that most of these deep divers will never see any water other than a shower or dip in the pool/sea.Most are bought today because of mostly the brag factor mine is bigger goes deeper than yours etc.Now if I was going to use as a Tool watch underwater then all the watches would do the job
