Maybe we should stop pointing out what the counterfeiters are doing wrong? It seems like they are trying to find out the fakes' weak spots.

Very humorous read here, but some of you better give your heads a shake.
The watch is real. |

The hands give it away also.
The real one has the wider hands.

If this is a rep then it's a very good one. The Rolex engraving looks spot on and the SEL's look tight. The pearl looks flawless too.

There's a lot of fakes in this thread. Easy to tell them apart too.

One, take five points for insulting another member.
Think it's OK to treat people like this on TRF? Good for you...you're wrong

He is banned...as odie2355 and also banned as rolexresearch so he cant respond under one of those names. The OP will have to come up with a new alias to post more pics....
You should buy it from him....buy the one he said was from his fiancé...that one looked more real than this one.... |

The reason the op hasn't responded is because he's been BANNED for posting fake watches...you're so quick to call names but why don't you read the entire thread before you run your mouth...

What are these guys hoping to accomplish by getting fake watches verified as real on this forum?

Interesting thread
I am not a Rolex authority, but I do a lot of highly detailed design work. Upon review of the watch in question the differences between it and verifiable Rolex to me are in order of clarity: The 3 of 300m is not directly below the R in MARINER above. the f in ft is too short. The = between ft and 300m is off and the space it sits in too large. The cyclops appears to be off center with the horizontal axis of the dial. Thank you every one for making me look more carefully. Keep up the good work!

If Mr. Blue Rocket is not a troll why has he gone off line before he has responded to Ratae 1950's post, which was up while Blue Rocket was on line? A very simple way to dissuade all of us from believing he is a troll, is to apologize for the use of the term "idiot" and acknowlege the demonstrated fact the watch is a fake. I will then apologize for the use of the term troll because he will have demonstrated he is not one. I, however, am not holding my breath for this to happen.

Nice to know I have a use in life....... I think the moral of the 'story' is that if you intend parting with $$$$ for a watch, you buy from a trusted vendor. I would assume the purpose of a Watch Out section is to help prevent criminals selling fake watches to uninformed people [me before TRF]. The issue of aiding and abetting the fraudsters is an interesting one and worthy of a calm and rational debate vis a vis the pros and cons of Watch Out.. Maybe the 'fishing posts' need to be closed early on.

for me, if the watch is real or fake has taken a back seat to what seems to have started directly as an inauthentic thread from the OP.
