Much to my wife's chagrin, guitars.

I tell her it could be worse. A fraternity brother's father collected fire trucks. Yes, trucks is plural...

Here's my most recent guitar aquisition:

(#2 Avengers in near mint cond.)

Approx. 800,000 year old hand axe, from the Sahara, made and likely used by Homo Erectus.

T-Rex tooth (Carcharodontosaurus)

Black pearl and Damascus auto, handmade.

400 million year old trilobite plate

8-10 million year old giant Megalodon shark tooth

I could do this all night, that's why my wife hates me.

So let's see your stuff!

where in the world do you get these stuff?

I think that they may be prohibited to be discussed or shown here in TRF. Maybe a moderator can shed some light.

Wow Paladin! That is quite a collection!

Somehow I think some of those might have shown up in a couple of movies...

Steve
I actually do have a little hobby business remting my and my friends ( its a very small community worldwide) WW2 armor out to film and promotional projects. None of these vehicles have been in a major film. A few have been in some history channel productions.

Funny, this time of year I field requests from wealthy kids and their parens looking to "rent a tank" for prom....lol. Needless to say the costs, logistics and insurance requirements end those dreams fast....

IMO nothing in this thread comes close to Paladin's collection of armored vehicles.

Currently I collect something a lot more trivial, blu-ray discs.

OMG!! That is a so cool... When can I come over to play! By fully functional, do you mean the 50mm accessories as well?

Nope...the ATF/Peoples Republic of Kalifornia restrictions and the liability issues are waaaay too burdensome to make having a class III destructive device feasible to own. Im just not into the paperwork and a colonoscopy every year. The main guns are all demilled and fire black power blank shells very convincingly.

I do have a couple friends with M18 Hellcat TD's in the Midwest that have live breeches/guns. In fact a client is hiring one to film blowing up a couple vehicles and a small explosives filled barn later this month.

Nice fossil collection Megalobyte.
I used to do a bit of fossil hunting when I was young and still living in Africa.
Probably my best find to date would have been a complete lystrosaurus skull. Although I found plenty of ammonites and even a glossopteris seed!

If you get a chance its worth hunting your own fossils down, it’s incredibly rewarding.

My wife and I have an eclectic collection of stuff. Our house is Martha Stewart meets the Smithsonian, but since lighting appears to be a theme, I rescued two of these from a church being demolished in 70's.

I collect tanks to, but the plastic model types. They store more easily.

Been a firearms collector for a long time. Just sold a few to help finance my new 14060m. Still have a bunch. Just got into pens. Own two MB's. Looking for a non MB but quality fountain pen to add to my collection. Any suggestions?
