I work corrections so at work I usually wear my beaters (Casio calculator watch or Tag Heuer F1) to try to avoid attention, I find inmates are very good at recognizing brands from a distance. On my days off I usually rotate between my Explorer or Speedy. I rarely wear my SMPChrono, but I try to get it in rotation twice a month. Then for formal, usually church, I go Explorer or vintage omega. I feel <40mm works better with formal wear.

Hello Mickey,
It is a change, and somewhat of an experiment. I didn't want to buy insurance for the entire collection, so the bank seemed like the best place to put them for now. I added my 1680 to my homeowners policy the day I purchased it....

I'll let you know if I decide to sell my 16800 matte dial...

I usually elect to keep what is on my wrist (sometimes for weeks) unless I'm in the mood to wind another watch and try hardly to set it with the help of my radio watch.

I follow the general guide of one of the other post, tend to be week on then change on a rotation of 8 or so. Sometimes I get lazy and run a couple of weeks with the same, and if it is new to me it usually gets two or even three weeks straight up before dropping into rotation.

The bank vault is always the best place to keep them!! It is a good thing my banks are within 10 minutes of my house as I am there all the time!

As for me and rotation--no rhyme or reason all depends on the mood. I try to give them all wrist time though but some clearly get more. Cheers,

I feel exactly the same way. I would personally hate it if I didn't have all of my watches at my finger tips whenever I want them. Although I know a bank safe is safer than a home safe, I like having a home safe to store my watches in much better.

Agreed but it also depends on the value of your watch collection.

I'm in the UK and can cover up to Ł25,000 of watches under the all risks section of my particular household contents insurance policy, which was fine for a while..... But as your collection grows or you start to buy more expensive pieces, then bank vaults come into their own....

When you own the sort of watches Ken (Steelerfan65) does..... There is only ONE option and that's the bank......

now my rotation is only 4 watches. my vintage tissot visodate, early 50s vintage lord elgin, my armitron orange beater, and occasionaly my atomic g shock. ive just recently taken my 6th watch, my vintage tissot bumper out of rotation and put it in storage in my safe(for now until its overhauled). it seems that my rotation is always flip flopping.

I wear my sub to work most of the time, or if we're going out. On weekends or week nights I'll generally put my G-Shock on.

otherwise it sits on my nightstand with the thermometer setting to tell me the temp in my bedroom.

Whatever i feel like.

I would wear a watch one day, switch to another wear that for a week, switch and wear another for one hour.

It all depends on my mood and what I am doing.

Although, I am strictly a one watch person when I travel.

Since my recent addition, it's been bark president and sub-c date on alternating days. And at bedtime it's a g shock (gw5600-classic square with auto backlight that activates when you tilt your wrist, so I can check time if need be)

I rotate every 2 weeks. For me it gives me enough time to spend with one watch before looking forward to the next one in the rotation. It usually goes in this order: 116610LV, 16613, 116710, PAM244, PAM310, Navitimer, PO. It goes without saying but I look forward to the Rolex rotations the most.

I have 3 watches but it's the Explorer I 39mm everyday.
The Omega got passed onto the wife
The G-shock is there for when I go to the beach for vacation or am going to certain work sites where a luxury watch would not be appropriate- which is rare now these days.

Wear my AP forged carbon diver most of the time as my daily beater and rotate the others depending on mood or attire.

Although I have 3 high end watches at the Moment, a Rolex 18K President, AP Royal Oak Dual Time, and a Rolex Milgauss. I switch off pretty equally between the AP and the Milgauss, I inherited the President from my late father, and although it has very dear sentimental value, it is not really my personal style.

I wear them both while swimming at the gym with a suit basically both are everyday watches for me. I usually wear one watch all weak and switch it up Friday afternoon for the weekend and the rest of the week.

I have a few new watches incoming, so i am sure i will be switching up my rotation.

Wear one watch Mon-Fri then put on my YG YMII for most weekends. I rotate my others equally during the week. Sometimes I will wear one more if I don't feel like changing it out. As long as they all get their fair share all is good.
