Had to do the same thing in the 90's

Took a few years before a Submariner was back on my wrist.

There's another Submariner in your future too.

Take a peek at some of the non-sport, 60s and 70s pieces. You'll be surprised what you can pick up around $1500, sometimes even less. Rolex is pay-to-play but luckily we can buy in at whichever level we like.

Best of luck with the interview - I've also been there a few years back - just goes to show that when times are tough, your Rolex will always be there to improve the situation.

hang in there buddy! When you do rebound and pick up another, it would be that much more special! Hang strong so you live to fight another day! I have had to do the same and sold 4 watches since I am in same shoe!

Glad to hear and know you're relieved.

Rebuild the financial safety net and there's always a Sub out there later. When the time is right, maybe give a distressed or nearly perished Sub a good home to save it and your pocketbook. Then rehab it over time as your savings build.
