There is some buyer protection built in with eBay. That being said I've never made a purchase that large on eBay so I can't comment on the process, should something go wrong.

Probably not, but thats me. If you follow everyones advice above you will most likely be fine, I can only suggest you try and view the item before purchasing.

Yes. I've found very great deals on the bay. You have to be very careful and be knowledgeable on the watch and seller. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that just started their watch hobby.

I would buy from one guy on ebay and thats swisscaliber.

Dont hesitate for a minute to buy from greg. he is straight up and honest

I have and will again. As with any purchase you have cross your Ts and dot your Is.

Buying on ebay with paypal is a lot safer than from a random person with cash.

Hi guys. I'm a watch rookie, but I've always loved the Blue/Blue Sub, and I'm looking to purchase one, and I'm considering eBay. You guys say "buy the seller." How do you "buy the seller?" What steps do you take? What questions do you ask?

Also I know very little about Rolex, but I am looking forward to learning more about the Blue/Blue Sub. What are obvious things to look for when trying to identify a fake?
