Exactly, Orchi is probably a good guy, but he is a rarity when it comes to good guys to deal with in the South east asian countries.

I disagree...based on the tone of his responses...Orchi is likely an internet troll. He may even be buying his Rolexes from the "Rolex Paradise"...his general attitude/phrasing looks like that of the "waltertamiya" (spelling?) guy.

All the links I posted came from Google...my responses, the warnings given by other agencies, and the responses from other forum members stand on their own...be very careful when selling a Rolex beyond national borders.

Also, had Orchi actually read the link to the Australian web site, rather than just trying to divert attention from the issue by citing the top of the article, he would have found this:

"Money and Valuables
Before you go, organise a variety of ways of accessing your money overseas, such as credit cards, travellers' cheques and cash. Check with your bank whether your ATM card will work overseas.

Credit card fraud occurs extensively throughout Malaysia. Credit cards are frequently copied in places ranging from small shops to large department stores and hotels for later illegal use. "

Some of you perhaps naive buddies better learn the fact that there are over 28 millions to 30 millions or so...of populations here in Malaysia.

n yes...there are about as many as 50,000 of foreign 'expatriates' whom are businessmen/women n working professionals in Malaysia...that are Caucasians(or Whites)...Japanese...Koreans... Singaporeans...Taiwanese/Hongkong Chinese...Auzzies...n New Zealanders...etc.

According to the latest statistics from the CIA's World factbook...Citizens of Malaysia or Malaysians...are made out of ethnically...50+% Malays...24% Chinese...11% Indigenous...7% Indians...n the rest 7.8%...all totaling about 25 millions of Malaysians.

Upto 5 millions of the populations are mostly "foreigners"...including the majority of illegal immigrants...foreign labourers from neighbouring countries in South East Asia like Indonesia/Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodian/Burma...n countries of India/Pakistan/Bangladesh.

There are also many so called "regular visitors" n "students" from China...n those as many...from the former CIS nations...African countries...n the Middle East countries as well.

So who in here has gotten cheated by whom...n from which nationalities???

Now in here...although EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinions...some of you should own up on some basic courtesy n responsibility...enough to accept the fact that you should NOT pass judgement easily on others...plainly on hearsay's basis.

Last but not least...certain folks in here...better keep their own racist or discriminatory remarks n wild accusations to themselves...

Oh btw...a little about thousands of Singaporeans "visiting" Malaysia for 'business' n 'shopping'....on DAILY basis...did anyone know that their OWN relevant Singaporean authority had to impose the strictest LAW since many years ago...on thousands of Singaporeans who would drive their vehicles into Malaysia on daily basis...to get cheap supply of Gasoline?

So since then...every Singapore registered vehicles have to pass their OWN Customs checkpoints leaving Singapore for Malaysia(1/4 mile distance)...with a MINIMUM of 3/4 tank full of gasoline produced in Singapore.

On the Re-ENTRY checkpoints...EVERY thousands of vehicles are screened for cheaper supplies of especially cigarettes n alcoholic beverages(HUGELY taxable in Singapore)...as well as for daily necessities n foodstuffs...

So there you go...those certain Singaporean forumers in here better tell the truth...instead for a change.

Sarcasm if any intended in this post...is NOT directed for ALL Singaporeans...who normally would NOT pass poor informations about Malaysia over the...worldwideweb.
