Thanksgiving thoughts a couple days early

Driving to work this morning I was thinking about how grateful I am. Up until a few days ago, I've been in a funk. I've had the shingles and been in terrible pain at times and I'm sure it was brought on by stressing over this move we're making to the UK.

But, I am feeling better now even if it is just good drugs, lol :) What I wanted to say, though, is how grateful I am for the love in my life, for the friendships including all my watch forum friends (some of whom I speak to regularly), and for the abundance I've been blessed with.

When I get stressy, I think of my 14 month old son's smile and his laughter. He knows no stress. He's just happy and he fills my life with joy as does his mum. Man, that's what it's all about.

Watches, for me, are just a fun bonus in all of this. Last night when I was posting about the Mark XV (on TZ) and then we got into what else catches my fancy, I was chuckling to myself about 1) the fun madness of this hobby, and 2) just out of happy gratitude that I even have the "problem" of what watch to get next, if any!

It's a season of giving thanks and feeling grateful. That's how I feel right now, and it has nothing to do with Thanksgiving being a couple of days away. I've just finally emerged from my stress phase of this move to the phase of feeling grateful and excited about the endless possibilities that exist with this adventure.

Thanks for reading my morning ramble and enjoy the rest of your day :)
Cheers,
Bruce

Good to hear Bruce. I've been worried about you, mate, and glad things seem to be looking up. You're doing the move for all the right reasons, so it'll all work out.

I think all of us on this forum are fortunate and have a lot to give thanks for.

Thanks alot guys. I'm especially grateful for this forum and all of you. The trouble with the other place turned out to be a blessing because it brought us all together here. Everything happens for a reason!

How can you not smile when you look at this face :)

You guys are the best
