That is gorgeous Seth! Can understand totally why you went White gold. I love YG but like you not sure how comfortable I would feel in many situations wearing it like you. And for that much dosh...I would want to wear it whenever I want! Think in the White gold and Romans with concentric rings it looks much more sporty and modern than in YG, but also very classic Rolex...with that amazing reassuring weight of precious metal. I am very jealous...really got me thinking now?? Think you have made the right choice and bet you can't wait now for this beauty to arrive. Looking forward to the pics

dude, i so appreciate the comments......

i too think it is more sporty and modern. and while still stunning, much less "attractive". so looking forward to posting the incoming shots.....

looking at the YG, i still want it, but as Mick says: "you can't always get what you want". another few years of saving and we shall see what happens.

again, greatly appreciate your participation in this thread. it made it all that much more enjoyable!!!!!

Truth be told, WG is a good first gold watch. Owning multiple gold pieces, I've enjoyed this self-indulgent luxury. So much so that I like to wear it out quite a lot. However there are times when YG is just inappropriate and WG is more tactful. As an only gold watch, WG is better suited as a daily/regular watch. Of course, if one's in a position to wear YG without issue then great. I know you'll enjoy the watch, Seth. The next one can be YG...or platinum is also a great option.

Congrats on decision day, Seth!
It's a beautiful choice!
Can't wait to see the real deal once you get it. I hope the wait goes quick.

I was in a high-end jewelry store in Palo Alto, California a few days ago. The store had an absolutely spectacular YG DDII with silver roman dial. Of course there was no lume but wow, that would be my choice if I had the funds available! I would recommend you look at that model before making your decision.
