I've seen two different models with this mod. However both were performed at APSC Clearwater. Not sure if it's done/OK elsewhere.

Awesome, looks great!! How did you find out about this mod, was it offered to you as an option by the APSC?

Wow, that looks great
i kept going back and forth about buying a bee and the datewheel was the one thing that put me off purchasing one since it looked a bit out of place against the yellow/black.

Great to know that AP will do it as an official mod :)

Some service centres just dun want to do more work thats all. Keep work to bare minimum where possible and screw the customers.

If is is an official mod approved by AP, i dun get it why its not consistent across all AP svc centres.

Looks cool, but I am surprised that a brand like AP approves changes on their models, when I wanted to get a sapphire case back for 1 of my Pams the answer of the saleslady was cold as ice "if Panerai made it like this it's for a reason"...

My bee is at AP Service now in AP factory, but I've been told it's not possible swapping the date wheel with the black one because it's not a factory made mod :(

That's what I thought... For some reason APSC US seems to be more flexible.

A few pic's of it in different lighting/angles!

Hi,
how did you swap the date wheel on your Bee? Mine is AP Le Brassus and I'been told by them isn't possible changing any part for another not OEM one.

I will check this out with APSC UK come service time as I would prefer a black date wheel on my RG RC which has the old style dial. & white date wheel.
