Had a GMT master, want to get a ii with SEL. I like the brushed/polished bracelet to set the C apart from the as sub, but the size of the bezel numbers bothers me, seems too large. Also not crazy about the lugs.

Just sold my GMT-C M series last week. I owned it for 1 year and I think it is the best, most versatile modern stianless Rolex available. I never used the GMT function, I really liked the PCLs, I wore it to work Mon thru Thurs. I bought a mint 1680 that is so nice - it replaced the GMT-C.
I have nothing but positive things to say about the GMT-C -

I've owned one before and really liked it, would buy one again if funds would allow but recently bought both a DSSD and the Blue dial YM so the watch fund piggy bank is well and truly empty.

That's too bad. I have an extra one I'm not using and was going to give it to you.

Easy solution, get them brushed, it looks less flashy/blingy without PCL's

The PCL is a curse on GMT. MAkes it bling. Otherwise I like it a lot but still favor ever classic sub. Just my opinion
