I saved for my Rolex. It's nice to have but I surely don't feel I "deserve" it. I don't deserve or am entitled to anything.

Yes, anyone can wear a Rolex. Some will pay a lot for a new one while others will shop around and find a perfectly great used watch for an awesome price.

I am a dirty sailor. I wear a Rolex.

While home works on his buddies cars in the driveway for beer while pissing off his neighbours. I wear a Rolex.

I drive a Ford Ranger and a $1200 motorcycle ....

Served for six months in a tin can off the coast of Africa to pay for my explorer 2 and 5513.

The only one who can't wear a Rolex watch is my dog. He tried once, but his wrist was too dang small. He did argue that he was a poodle, and that he was somehow entitled to the finer things in life, but "your wrist is too small, dog. Don't you get it?"

Let's stick with Rolex and not get into Seiko bashing because there are different caliber watches Seiko make (GS, Galante, Credor) and it can not be generalized by only one name!

anyone that can pay the cost of one can wear one. i was 100% on buying one after an extremely tough day of work. i was exhausted and frustrated and walking home from the metro station and I was thinking to myself "what is all this hard work for?" and that's when I decided to start dropping coin on things I enjoy...

On this forum you commonly see people make the statement that if you cant pay cash for it, or easily afford it, then you shouldn't have it. I would subscribe to that for most things in life. Don't buy a 300k house on a 40k salary, no 60k cars at 15%, etc...... However, those items are common sense items to me. Rolex', in no way, make sense for anyone to own, even the wealthy. Why? Because its 5k (min) for a stinking watch! When you look on this forum you will see some collections that could fund an orphanage for a decade....buts thats not the point is it? We love our watches. Cherish our watches. Rub our watches with diapers. Have photo albums of our watches. And on and on.....so to answer your question.....any watch crazy nutcase can wear a Rolex, Omega, etc...... Most people wouldn't, but we aren't most people.....

I have slept on the side of the road downtown with homeless people before because I was to tired to drive home. Safety in numbers as they say and yes I wear a Rolex. OP You may want to up your social status to a Patek, AP, or Lange to not be associated with such filth.

The majority of Rolex owners are not wealthy.

From the moment i got home and open My Green box whit my brand new datejust 2 i was stuck. I Did absolutley love the watch and Rolex.

Sadly in 2012 things went wrong in 2012. I hade to sell my DJ 2 due to bad economy.

Now things seen a lite more brighter and i have saved some cash for a 116610.

But now to the thing that bothers me. Can anyone wear a Rolex ?

Today i just a regular guy whit a normal payment and a no fancy job.

Can i still wear a rolex ?

For Me Rolex is not all about welthyness and econmical acivement, for Me Rolex is one of the few brands i realy appriciate for its history and its AAA quality.

Is it just Me here or is it anyone more that not have unllimited whit cash ?:)

Best regards from Sweden.

It's just a watch. yeah, everyone can wear it ( specially the stainless steel models)
