Here's hoping but I can't see it happening, for a comparisson a carbon GP has dropped around 10%. The rg Schumacher is by far the most desirable in the Schumi range + he is a bigger F1 legend than RB. Your predicted drop is over 25%, when you consider that the RB has only ever increased in value I can't see the RG Schumi losing very much especially once AP start increasing prices again. There's nothing wrong with wishful thinking though.

Hey QC any truth to the rubber strap on the Schumi being more supple than the AP 44 Chrono rubber strap?

Queuecumber have you seen any light scratches or scuffs on case or bezel so far after some wrist time?
I am wondering what the difference is between Cermet and Ceramic? I have seen some friends with black Ceramic watches like the Panerai 292 have permanent scratches on the surface so I am curious how its been holding up. Would be very interested in your feedback so far =) Thanks in advance!! P.S. Your photo thread has me seriously considering a Ti Schumacher now |

Thats part of the trend of big face watches and this is one of my fav elements of the watch the crown looks super technical with tiny details that make it different from your typical boring grooved crowns out there.

The cermet is shinier than ceramic. It has a mirror like surface that is highly reflective. This adds to the versatility of the piece quite a bit. I don't see how people say it is too monotone unless they have only tried it on in bad lighting, since the cermet reflects anything in the environment. This is also the case with reflecting light, so the cermet changes character wildly based on lighting as well. It makes it a very exciting piece IMO. |

I agree. It fits the design aesthetic of the watch, so does the crown guard IMO. Switches on a racecar (or other industrial vehicle like a fighter jet) are easy to use and access with human fingers, not hidden and difficult to access.

I noticed the bezel has matte brushed finish on top and polished on side which I think will make it challenging for someone to fix any scratches. It would probably have to be replaced I would think if there were any bad scratches accumulated. I am super anal myself and I am always mentally aware of where my left hand is when i wear my expensive time pieces but sometimes you cant avoid the inevitable. |

I'm not sure, but I can't imagine you would have to replace it unless you are very careless and hit it very hard on things...
I think the AP Boutique would be able to tell you the costs, or if not call Clearwater. |

I have the Rolex TT Bluesy and I hit that hard on things and I'm pretty careless with it. The ceramic bezel is still pristine....
