Way turn something classy and luxurious into a cheap POS that I wouldn't be surprised to see at Toys R Us or at a swap meet.

I just don't get why someone would want to powder coat something as beautiful as gold? What's the point? They have taken some fantastic watches and made them look cheap, IMHO. But, I suppose if someone has the $$$ and wants something "different", to each their own.

I appreciate mods more than most but let me be as kind as possible as say that these are certainly anywhere near my taste.

i actually like the dial and lume look , but the black case ruins it ,,,
ive a feeling that id soon grow sick of the dial colour too , but for a day or two ,,, very nice.
then i really would want the proper one back.

I can see someone blacking out a sub, GMT or explorer. But what they did to the Skymaster...

The airplane is cute and whimsy, but it does make the watch look like a cheap toy.
