Can I ask the OP how you find the size difference after trading your PAM's??

I am tempted to trade my PAM177 towards either a Sub or GMT. My only Rolex is a Exp II 42mm noir and this sits nicely between these size-wise.

Not a problem. I thought I will miss 44mm PAM but to be honest Sub C sits way more comfortable, feels more solid and has great presence on my almost 7" wrist.

It wasn't easy for me but I would do it again and again. I'm 37 and been wearing Panerai for the last 4 years and most likely will get it again but Rolex really made me appreciate how I feel about quality.

It's been 4 days and it's as accurate as on day one. Trust me, I was staring at my wrist every 5 minutes trying to see if I indeed made a wrong choice going from 44mm to 40mm but it's not the case.

I like Panerai, it's history and Paneristi community and once I'm ready, I'm getting myself another timepiece but I'm extremely happy that I made the switch.

The subc wears like a 42mm so its not such a change from a 44mm. I have APs and Breitlings at 44mm and the subc has been fine for me too.
