Haha, maybe. The HPFPs were a big deal even so BMW's PR machine down played it. My car was so bad, and dangerous, almost got rear ended doing 80 when the car completely shut down... anyway my case was taken up by the NTSB as well as many others which led the push for BMW to admit to the design flaw and recall. But if you're cool with all that and if it's still covered under factory warranty then you are okay. I think the HPFPS are covered up to 100,000 miles now... No matter what. And if the car sings for you then enjoy.

I am not that old at 42.
This is a 1 of 80 Commemorative Edition 911. I am now staying with the older classic air cooled 911's. They are bullet proof, reliable and a rewarding drivers car can kill you if you don't know how to drive it.

Here is a pic I took of my 911 that was featured in a "Dream Car" poster series.

I sometimes miss my 3 liter GT B5 S4 and I always miss my sub-2 second FATS times :)

The last time I was on QW, it was a bunch of single turbo kits... so weird to me.

Oh well, I own a built C5 Z06 now so no more blown axles, dropped pixels, broken cupholders, ABS lights, turbo lady, green mirrors, leaks, etc.

My S4 was really clean and well-maintained but I remember all the bellyaching on that forum.

Love the PTS Riveria! I never really warmed up to the 991's until now! Looks great! Being a 993 guy I can really appreciate the RB!

Haha I used to be on the forums alot but I learned enough and did enough work that I have alot of experience with them that I knew what to replace and thats why I got it all done within a year. She's a dream to drive. Funny thing was I was talking about going 3L for 2014, but I really want to get a house maybe later when I'm closer to 25 or maybe I'll grow up and get a Porsche... At this rate I think I see a 997 in my future. Btw gorgeous Z06 absolutely a blast to drive.

She's not the fastest, the most exotic, or the most beautiful on the board, but she's paid for.
