I prefer the BLNR but, it's not worth the 2k price difference or half a bezel worth of blue.

I bought the LN but I don't know what I would have done had the choice been available. I may have to get a BLNR down the road. The two finest GMTs in the line to me.

I'm not sure where the $2K price difference is coming from since the MSRP of the BLNR is +$500. I assume you are comparing a used LN to a new BLNR because I doubt an AD discount on the LN would be that much.
In any event, Rolex feels the bi-bezel is worth $500 more. So if you're looking at a difference of $2K for a BNIB LN then even Rolex would say it is the better value. You can't go wrong either way. I like the green accents on the LN. Green is, after all, Rolex's corporate color and represents the 50th anniversary of the model. There's a cool factor in that. The blue hand stands out more while the green seems more subtle to my eye and blends in better. This may matter depending on how your eye sees things and reads the dial, but it means it is a little easier for me to read local time because the first thing I see isn't the 24 hour hand. My eye tends to search for and pick up the triangle marker in order to read the other time zones so the more subtle green hand doesn't bother me when using the GMT function. If you tend to look for the stick of the hand the blue may be more functional for you in regard to using the GMT function. Again, depending on how your eyes see colors, this whole point may be the opposite for you if green is more noticeable to your eye. To me the biggest difference in the look is to the casual uninitiated public. The bi-color bezel looks a little less like a Submariner than the LN. Most people that don't know Rolex don't know there is a difference in the bezels or that the GMT has PCL's. They will probably still think your BLNR is a Sub, just one that's a little different than they've seen before. If none of this utility means anything to you and it is more of a look thing then don't buy until you fully make up your mind. Then you'll have no regrets whichever one you choose.

I did think this too but the blue hand matches with the half blue bezel, just as the half black bezel does the dial so it evens out more and works for me.

Black for me.
In most normal light, the blue looks black anyway. |

Big fan of the black ceramic version, I like the "Rolex green" 4th hand and green wording on the dial. I just wished it was an all brushed bracelet (I know I can have it brushed but I don't like to mod or mess with watches)
