Nice collection, G. I love all three brands you've got there.

That pic was slow to load, Chip. As it was loading I was thinking very nice collection. Then it got to the bottom.

Very nice "humble" group there, Mike.
But I've got a question for you. Why 3 R/B GMTs and 2 ND Subs? Don't get me wrong, they're great watches. But I always thought variety was the spice of life.

Actually the pic doesn't show it very well,but the GMTs are a 1675 Red/Blue I got in 1968,a gilt dial mini-hand circa 1966,and a Red/Black F series GMT II. The Subs are,of course the LV, a 5513 circa 1979,an F series Sub date,and an F series sea-dweller. |

I didn't notice that piddly little date window on the SD at first glance. If I look hard and squint I can make it out.

It's all just business guys. As long as people think that 1000-2000m and thick as hell make a watch tougher, companies will keep making them. Most of the people who own dive watches don't dive and never will, so those capabilities have bugger all to do with their reasons for purchase. It's just a look and some emotional fantasy consumers are after. Kinda like buying a Porche to drive on a 65mph limit freeway.
