For most years since the Day/Date became available I have worn one daily.
Had the WG for a while, but went back to the YG in the Quartz or the perpetual as the WG reminded me too much of SS.

I presume what you're most likely missing is one of these :)



An Oysterquartz Day-Date in yellow gold is what I assume the original poster is referring to (and apologies if not). The one in the photo was mine, which was my daily wearer for pretty much six years, before I sold it on.
