Just wanna say THANKS to everyone for the congrats and what not.
I'm still in debating mode but I'm sure I'll figure it out soon. I just wasn't prepared for the let down. I guess you never know if your gonna like a certain watch until you get it on your wrist. Thanks again!

TRF'rs,
I love the large case and the green glass. I hope they start producing it on sporty models too. Anyway good luck whatever you opt on doing you're lucky!

You are one lucky Rolex owner....I've never even seen this watch, and you are lucky enough to have it in your hand. The pictures were great....I had to look at them over and over. Enjoy your great purchase, either way you go-you are the fortunate one.

Now try this to Authenticate!

Wrap that beauty in a dozen Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets- 25MGOe or better and film the movement.
If the springs aren't ripped apart, the hands blown clean through the crystal, and the fillings are still in your mouth, then it should be authentic.

I love that crystal!
Good luck with it!

Wow Felly, that green sapphire crystal looks excellent.

I know what you mean about getting all hyped up and then

it not fully smiling at you. Same happened with my GMT IIc.

I bought it and it never arrived for 2 weeks. I was so wound up

to receive it. But when I did get, I was like "It's ok."

But now you can't pry it off my wrist. I just love it!!

All the best, it looks fantastic, hope it grows on you.

I have a black face clear crystal milgauss. ive wanted this watch since it was announced and was a little let down in early january when i was only able te get "regular" and not GV. since i put it on for the first time it was instantly my favorite rolex i own. the face has a simple look while its size and feel is bigger than my daytona. I like it so much, i have been looking to get a GV model as well. My dealer called me and said he had one for sale at aftermarket price of 14k.I had zero intention of paying that price but went to check it out. in person the green crystal hazes when the watch is on an angle. it gives it a foggy look. i was not that impressed at all with the green glass and the black face combo. I happen to like the actual face of the GV with the 3 orange markers better than mine but im really happier with one i have. (looks wise NOT value wise. 14k???)

I happen to think the GV would have looked much better on the white face.

I absolutely understand... I just got mine the other day and it was definitely a bit of a let down. I had bought the standard black dial when it first came out and I think I prefer it to the GV (when I wear both... the black dial just looks cleaner). However, I've got to admit that the green crystal is still VERY COOL. I think I'll end up wearing the black dial version and leaving the GV in my display case.

This will be interesting. It's up to about Aus $11000 already on Ebay. We will now find out just how much a guaranteed genuine BNIB Milgauss GV will sell for at auction.
Looks like it was a good buy at Aus $8000.

Hi Felly

I can see that it has been deleted from My Ebay list.

Did you sell it? or are you going to keep it?

Ebay yanked it because I said I had it for sale locally and had the right to end it early and they also didn't like seeing that I was accepting offers. Not sure if I'll relist or not.
