Curious because I wonder how the 4 cylinder can handle the extra weight of the 4wd and extended cab. Most I see are 6.

Thanks! Off Road = 16 inch tires + locking differential. Sport = 17 inch no locking diff. You get a non functional hood scoop though.

It's a V6 automatic. The 1993 I owned was an extended cab, 4 cylinder 5 speed stick that I plowed with. Never any problems with it

I'm really thinking about picking up a Tacoma for my new job when I have to drive through the snow. I just can't believe how expensive they are even when they are used. Good thing is they last forever though.

There might be an incoming in my future as well

Understand - I wasn't criticizing or being derogatory. I was just poking fun at the picture and the truck's proximity to the street.
All in good fun and no harm intended.

They hold their resale very well. I wasn't planning on buying anything. I drive by a Ford dealership every day. On the way home on a Saturday the truck was in parked right out front. I stopped the next day to take a look. I have a life long friend who is a salesman there. I called him Monday. It took a week and a half for him to get me the deal I wanted. It helped because I didn't have to buy anything. I was more than happy with the deal

Had a 99 4runner highlander. Recently upgraded to 2014 Tacoma double cab. Kings Mid travel set up with all pro leaf pack and Total Chaos UCA. Satoshi grill should be coming in any day now. Love Toyota trucks! Bullet proof!
