And along those lines: Be the first in the office in the morning, the last to leave at night, and never drink at lunch.

And live below your means.

I drove a Ford Aspire for 5 years, no air conditioning, radio, power windows, power steering.
No point on spending money on a car when you can buy watches with it.

No family, no kids, ramen noodles everday, no going out, no buying nothing. Pretty much no life.

Don't have a girlfriend, or a wife.

The above two categories are the biggest drain on finances.

When I was single, I had an additional character length at the end of my balance.

Some good advice here.

My advice would be to get your priorities straight first, buy a house, save a little for a rainy day then look to buy luxury things such as a Rolex. The advice to pay yourself first is great, I take money out the day I'm paid to overpay my mortgage as I can get access to that money in the future and it reduces the term on my mortgage. Only spend what you can afford to. Oh, and stay away from strippers and champagne!

You said you'll be wealthy soon? So there's nothing much to do? Just wait until that happens? Sounds simple to me??

I used a picture of the watch I wanted as my computer wallpaper for motivation. It took me four years, but I got it yesterday!

Stay the hell out of the patek AD for starters

It's a shame so many people think women are a major expense. They add to the bottom line substantially if you pick one with brains.

What's the fastest way to save money to buy Rolexes!!

I got nothing for you man, as I don't have a Rolex yet and don't have the disposable income. I do have other nice watches tho. My purchasing theory for a watch or any other lux item, I use what I call the flush test. If I can figuratively flush the money down the toilet and it has no ill affect on my life or finances than I can afford it. Right now I can't flush 5-7k so I don't, even tho I want to badly. Hell, maybe I will never have the money to flush, but hey, it gives me hope and a goal, that's all that matters. I found out long ago that humans are never satisfied. I got my grail watch and after a few years want another. There will always be something else, don't do anything foolish cause want never ends.

I didn't slowly save up for mine.. but paying yourself and putting it in a separate fund is a great idea. Keep the budget tight. Cut your expenses. If there are opportunities to make money outside your regular job.. that helps too. I paid for mine when I worked for a company that paid nice (well earned) bonuses (and I was single - no car payment - just paying rent/utilities too..).

Budget.

It's that simple, but many people don't know how to set a budget, and fewer still have the willpower to stick with it.

Trust me, life ain't so bad living below your means, especially later on when you look back and you're sitting on some bank.

Step 1: Want Rolex
Step 2: Start using your money wisely, become debt free, save a lot
Step 3: Start a business that allows you to escape the slavery of employment
Step 4: Profit
Step 5: Buy Rolex

Well then let me put it this way - in my experience it beats spending more than everything you earn and maxxing out your credit cards. I tried it this way when I was young.

Of course, this is IMHO, YMMV.
