From my perspective it you be simply the Skydweller and DDII (going against the current enamored support for the DD40).

Most people seem to choose a wg and a yellow or rose number. despite the outspoken detractors of wg, it seems most would go one of each.

WG smurf and rose gold DD would be my dream duo. Already have one of the two so maybe later I will add the DD.

the best 2 rolex combo is of course YOUR favorite 2 Rolexes!!

Mine would be WG sub and platinum DD 40 with meteorite dial...or maybe a platona with meteorite or panda dial

Best two Rolexes: RG DD2 + Platinum Daytona
Best two gold watches: Patek 5980/1r + Patek 5227r

Funny thing is I don't have either of the Rolexes!

Depends on what you like. The worst thing you can do is let the enablers here talk you into a watch that doesn't sing to you. More than likely, you'll end up flipping it. Go with what your heart truly wants. There's your perfect watch(s).

Lots of love for the Smurf in these forums... how surprising given the safe nature of most Rolex admirers. Years ago if you would have told me this watch was coming out I would have never expected it to be so successful.

It just ticks off all the right boxes for me - it's full gold, stealth, and love the colour blue against the warm white gold!!

The Smurf and the Ceramic Pepsi would be my choices. Full gold but stealth.

I have no idea of what you are talking about, perhaps you should try to spell correctly and use proper grammar. Thank you.

What else? The chocolate dial on the DD2 and the diamond glacier blue on the Platona.

Gotta work on getting these...

just be sure you keep one white and one yellow gold or you'll find yourself back buying to get the color you didn't keep. Not that buying another Rolex is a bad thing...
