i've always gone to my local AD, just cautiously wary, what are some of the things buyers should look out for?

do you guys to rolex.com and check serial numbers to get the manufacture dates?

if we are extremely paranoid how do we check the authenticity of the watch other than bring it into rolex and opening the case?

Who is David SW? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for David. You never knew. That was his power.
