I just got a new SubC about 5-6 weeks ago and I'm working on wearing it more. I'm definitely not at the daily but trying to over come my fear of a ding or strach.

As far as buying one... i know this sounds silly but wanting a timepiece like a rolex is something you're kind of born with. I do NOT mean this in a financial sense... But not not everyone will understand why you'd spend 7000k or more on a watch.

114060 daily. Only take it off for sleep, shower and gym.

Perfect daily wearer imo

My Explorer l 39mm is my daily, and my SubC LV is for special occasions or the odd break.

I am interested to know if anyone else joins in my initial paranoia of wearing this watch, or do many just through caution to the wind and wear their Rolex proudly.

Thank you,

If you are concerned with a Rolex on your wrist all the time, maybe it's not for you.. I mostly wear one and have for 40 years, although I do mix it up with other brands too

I'm not sure that "proud" is what I would use to describe wearing one though.. sounds a bit materialistic..

I wear a Rolex every single day. You just have to get over the fear of the first scratch or ding. Everything is gravy after that.

I remember when I felt that same way about a Tag that cost me $600 in Approx. 1997. I was all paranoid....like somebody actually would care! It was a huge jump up from my $100 Guess watch that flooded out in a swimming pool somewhere outside of Ensanada Mexico. Well, either way...within a year of buying that Tag I decided to step up to the plate and buy the watch I had always wanted...a 16610 Sub Date. Needless to say, from the second I walked out of the AD with my Sub Date it just felt like home, and have almost never worn anything else but a Sub everyday since. Sporting the LVC today!

Oh...and honestly, if your just wearing a SS Sub...99.9% of the world will have no idea, or even care for that matter. In most peoples heads, when they hear Rolex...they think of some God awful Diamond encrusted blinged out Rapper style watch!

I have a doz watches and the Rolex models get the most wrist time, like 95% of the time.

If you are unsure about owning/wearing a Rolex, don't buy one. Maybe it's not for you, however, you ought to at least give yourself the opportunity to own one and enjoy in good health. My 2c.

Been wearing nothing but Rolex as my daily in the last year or so. Work and play. I did wear a Breitling but that had dropped out of my rotation after my acquisition of a few rolexes last year.
Go for it!

I have other brands besides Rolex but admittedly Rolex is my favorite. I don't rotate daily but rather tend to wear a watch for several days or weeks until I just feel one morning like putting a different one on for a while. But on those occasions when something special is going on one of the Rolexes usually gets the call.

But in answer to your question, there's nothing about any of my Rolex watches that would keep me from wearing for any particular reason other than it's in the safe rather than on my wrist.

The 114060 was too bulky for me to wear continually; it had nothing to do with it being a Rolex however. I almost always wear one of mine. I have enough for one for each day of the week. Maybe that's not a bad idea, choosing them that way. One for each day and a couple for holidays.

Absolutely! I wear one everyday out of a rotation of four. Sometimes I'll wear the speedy or the Pam.

I wear mine every single day!

It comes off for sleep & runs only.

As others have said you need to get over that first bad scratch or ding then you're on your way for years of happiness!

I usually wear a Rolex daily, but only go into the office about once a week (I work in sales, so always visiting customers). I sometimes alternate with a G Shock, depending on my mood that day. I say, enjoy it regularly!
