This. When working in law enforcement at the state or federal level (and some very large cities) you can make 100k or more pretty easy. Now, it is a decent amount of money... Not Platona money but you can be smart and comfortable with your finances. |

A list, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, published May 2014
Perhaps this will help, if you are in the US.......

Here are the stats for law enforcement (sergeant and detective), as well.....although many departments are now looking for a college degree (or prior military service in lieu of)....but even those who allow for hire without a college degree, most do require such to promote.

Go into business for yourself. Without an education, being self employed or winning the lottery will give you the greatest chance of making 10K a month. Granted, I have an education but I have one client alone that pays me more than 10k a month. It's not that hard if you are willing to put in the hours.

(1) Be The Best Plumber.
(2) Be the hardest working plumber. (3) Figure out how to grow and manage a team-lead by example, keep your crew(s) laid out, in material, and in tools. (4) Be professional with other trades and Management. (5) Never take sides against your crew(s) or your company. (5) Run larger projects($5mil+)-They pay more and the smaller ones are a PIA. (6) Make them money-bring the bids in. That's how I did it in construction industry as a sparky, but it should transfer-$60 and hour even with a company truck is easy. |

I'd be interested in hearing you read out your original post George just so that I can fully evaluate your question. Can you put up a vid?

That's 120,000 a year. Based on 50 work weeks and a forty hour week, that's $60 an hour.
There's skilled jobs that pay that much and more. Those require developing the skill and doing it very well. You can look at paralegal work if you are in or near a major city. Those jobs pay overtime. With some experience and of you are good, you can make $120k a year and benefits. It's not really that much. If you are smart and willing to work, you can do it. Good luck

not sure what part of the US you are in but i am in the Elevator Constructors Union , and 120k a year is easily achievable in almost any major city in the US . i'm in a Small city (Syracuse NY) and there are 79 members in our local branch working for 4 major employers and i would say that 60 (about 75%) of the members of this local make over 100 K a year , not counting the additional +50k/year in benefit package above what hits the check ! some of us just break or come in just shy of 100k most years and others make 140k to 160k plus benefits . that requires a higher level of demand and knowledge and some overtime but not overly difficult if committed to learning the latest tech and being well versed in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ! if you can scan/diagnose/and repair your own car . and do the brakes and oil changes yourself you could be trained to be an elevator constructor ! you will not get rich as you are still an employee for someone else who is getting very rich but you can live a comfortable life and have time to enjoy it !

Sounds like to me, you're just going to need more life experience to get this figured out.
Good luck! |

Excellent advice. A career in sales can be enormously rewarding both financially and personally
26 years in my case with one company, love what I do. I have a college degree but it was not a requirement for the position, although it did open the door to the opportunity |
