Hmmm I also have only a subC from Rolex currently... My next purchase will be a 116610LV... I guess not everyone shares your sentiment.

That being said, if you end up only owning one Rolex in you collection, the sub you have was a great choice and representation of the brand.

Best of luck with your future acquisitions.

Yellow Gold or Rose Gold are always options to consider.

Yeah, if you're looking for something that is unlike anything else in the range, the Milgauss is definitely one of those.

I agree. I have a DJ and a DSSD and I tried on a blue gv milgauss at my AD the other day. It is a great looking piece in person. The pics did nothing for me, but once I saw it I was a believer. Just have to be ok with no date.

I kind of get what you are saying. I love my Sub C and will never get rid of it. It is the perfect sports watch imo. I had the Daytona but then sold it. If I'm going to add another Rolex it will be the classic Datejust :)

In the long run though, I'm saving for a Patek 5227 :D

I love Rolex. But I do in a small way see the OP point.

If I think about BMW, which I also have a passion for, you can see how a 3,5,7 have the same bloodlines. But like a Rolex the cars offer a different function or experience for buyers. I tend to look at a rolex in the same way. Yes a Black Sub and a Black GMT look the simlar at first glance but then you add the 2nd time zone hand and there you have it... A different function.

Anyways, when it comes down to it for some people 1 Rolex is enough. Just like I wouldn't have a 3 and a 5 series at the same time.

Lots of Ferraris look very similar. Fact is, if you like them, you like them. If you fall out of love with them, then go.

Do it!!! It's an awesome watch that isn't instantly in recognized as a Rolex. I love mine. Let me know if you need more enabling. That's what I'm here for.

If I could afford it I would keep one Rolex, one Audemars Piquet and a Franck Mueller.

Just enjoy your Sub C, you are just probably not ready to get another one yet.. A watch forum is sometimes not healthly when we see each other's collection and wonder what our next watch should be
