I don't like the modern SS Daytona so I would do it in a heartbeat.

Never. I've sold the BLNR after a month because finally it's only one more GMT and never has reached to my heart. The Daytona is what it is: the most desired chrono at the market...

Yes!

I did flip my white dial 7 months old 116520 SS Daytona for BLNR and didn't look back. Still in love with BLNR after 5 months. Bi-color bezel and extra complications and much more is incredible.

Daytona is amazing watch but for me it stopped singing and I'm happy that I owned and gave it a try.

What color is the dial on the Daytona? If it's black I'd say OK to flip, if white keep it for some color variety. That said I'd follow advice above and keep the Daytona but flip one of your diving watches for the GMT. I won't suggest which...

I'm on the edge of doing the deed.

The BLNR will become a trio with these two
I have a sub114060 and 116710 blnr and they go really well together, I've never owned a Daytona but I'm don't think you'll have any regrets.

Well...I don't know. That's a tough one.

If you are saying the love is gone and you know for sure the BLNR is what you need, I guess. But I would make sure that is what you're feeling before doing that.

Well funds are now in the account and the Daytona is being packaged up for its new owner who will no doubt give it the wrist time it deserves

I'm now in limbo...

The BLNR does appeal to me but I still think it's strong money on the discounted from my normal supply chains, supplying an EU warranty card one but they have it only £200 below uk RRP, non EU ones sit around about £5,000 but for me as I like to flip non EU models are a lot harder to shift in the UK.

From my buying history apart from the Daytona I usually see 15-20% off retail which the BLNR is no where near at the moment.

I might sit tight to see what Basel 16 brings

My collection is definitely missing a chronograph and a white dial just a shame the SS Daytona wasn't the one!

The collection is also missing a GMT

Funnily over the last couple of days I've been revisiting a few pics I have of the polar ExpII wrist shots on my phone, not something that has been on my radar but has got me looking!

Would not flip my daytona for it, and i love the BLNR. The daytona is IMO the best all around watch.

Definitely depends on what you like and if you want variety or not. For me, the Sub and GMT both sit similarly on my wrist. But the Daytona with the thinner case, is more comfortable and the chrono makes it more interesting. The BLNR is not difficult to find in the US, but may be harder to source in the UK.
