I sell or trade all the time. If I tire of a piece or don't wear it regularly, I would rather flip it than have it collect dust. I also never know for sure if I'll love piece or not until i've owned it. Sometimes it takes a long time to realize if its a long-term keeper or not. Sometimes (too often I'm afraid) it takes just a few days.

I have read a lot of TRF threads on the Platona. Owners seem to absolutely love it; almost like its magical. Can't think of any other watch that owners consistently say that about (although a few others come close).

Daytonas are a little small for me, or I'd have a Platona. No question about it.

Platona actually wears large. Case is slightly larger and the dark bezel wears larger than the stainless steel one.

I think that once you wear the Platona, it will take most of the wrist time. Thus, trade is good. I would keep the GMT master

I prefer white metals but the DD in my opinion looks fantastic in RG, keep the Sub ND, the YM and the GMT YG and trade the YG Sub + cash for Platona, no need in my opinion for 2 Subs.

I prefer my white SS Daytona to the Pt model.

I did check it out and it is a talking point - but I thought it was on the heavy side for my comfort and the brown does nothing foe me.

Enjoy it if it suits you.
