I'm always on time or early. I hate when I am late. For others, it doesn't bother me so much, especially in this town where traffic is insane at times.

I'm always early for an appointment or function. I believe it shows a lack of respect for other people's time to be late.

This is a big pet peeve of mine. I am always early to meetings and my boss is ALWAYS 20 minutes late, especially when driving to see customers.

Min 15 min early to any meeting, professional or personal. On business trip, I fly one day before the meeting to cope with delays and flight cancellation.

Time & space management, it's a military thing. Know your time, manage your space…

That's not how my wife see's it… But we've been married 21 years. J

When the variables are reasonably within my control i'm always on time if not a little early.

Add the wife and /or son into the equation and results may vary.

Given the choice of 30 minutes early or 5 minutes late, I'll take early every time. Always early unless my wife and 2 small children are involved....I gave up on that quite some time ago.

I can't stand to be late for anything so I always leave excessively early. I once had a company commander say "if you are ten minutes earlier you are five minutes late."

It was a huge adjustment once I entered the civilian world where it seems like many people feel start times and appointments are flexible. The only thing I'm not 15-30 minutes early for anymore are doctors appointments. I don't see the point in turning a hour wait into a hour and a half wait. I just show up 5 minutes early and start reading TRF!

But I also agree with the others in that once you add my wife and our 6 and 2 year old all bets are off. I usually start pushing them toward the door an hour before we need to leave just so we can be out the door a half hour after we should have left.

In my personal life, I usually run on time but sometimes run a little late. In my professional life, I am never late and cannot stand when others are also late.

My first job taught me that if you're not 15 minutes early for a meeting, you're already late. A rule I have followed since.

I like seeing a lot of people on here who are always early. I fall into this group as well. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who show up wait. I find it extremely disrespectful.

Always early. I despise tardiness.

I was always on time, until I had my son. Not a good excuse by unforeseen set backs happen all the time.

I am always on time without fail! People being late is my biggest pet hate!!

Business meetings always 10-15 mins early, social occasions I always just try to be bang in time.

When me and my friends meet for a drink in the city one of our friends is late every single time and he lives the closest! Drives me nuts. It's got to the point that if we are meeting at 8pm we tell him 7:30pm because we know he'll be late.

Seems like young peole now days are on their own time.

I would rather be 60 minutes early than 1 minute late. Trying to teach my kids the same thing.
