They have been paying a lot of attention to the Yacht Master and to the Daytonas the past few years. Wouldn't it be shocking if they came out with a two-tone rose gold Submariner? Matte black bezel? Or... Root beer gmt. Rose gold gmt? One of them on jubilee bracelet only lol.

AD has a 6 person waiting list for the Deep Sea. I remember talking with the manager a year ago and he had a white 116520 and a Deep Sea on his desk in their styrofoam packaging.

Good to see changes but none listed here that I'll be in the market for. I like the YM with the platinum bezel but agree it's time for it to be updated in some fashion.

Love speculation though, thanks for sharing.

Phillip, no mention of the Blueberry GMT?

Of the ones put forth I like the TT Daytona, particularly the white dial and both serti dials and I'm not normally a big TT Daytona fan. Also think the platty dial YM is sharp.

Philipp,

I have great respect for your knowledge and insider infos.
In my opinion, you are not doing yourself any good by being not precise in journalistic terms.

If you speculate only - just say it. If you have facts just say it.

But presenting mockups here with unclear informations what they are standing for is not good for your credibility and for your published articles.

You personally may enjoy a little tease but this will backfire on the long run.

Just my opinion....

I love to see more diversity on the DJ2- a two tone with Rose gold. I did not mind the 41mm but would be so the change to 40mm would not make a big difference.

How about a Sub or GMT two tone with steel and rose gold?

Great report.
My empirical observations.

Rolex's instagram account has been posting mostly Daytona pics.
Rolex have discontinued the Daytona 18t with strap on WG and YG. The Everrose is still available with ceramic bezel. This has been confirmed by my AD and the Rolex website. This has let me to believe they may introduce a new strapped Daytona in gold with ceramic bezel or maybe the new rubber strap.

Let's see in 3 weeks.

These articles are fun but the reality is we just have no idea. I'm sure there will be some great stuff and some just ok stuff. Just like every other year.

I am sticking by with a double green sea-dweller for the anniversary. That will be the nuclear blast.

I do believe they are planning something with the Daytona but I think the teaser is a bit of a red herring to keep us off the scent of the 'dweller anniversary...

Just my opinion but it would be easy to do a redial on the 116600 and maybe a matte bezel which would make that a damn near perfect time piece for me. Might even drive me back to being a one-watch guy!
