It might not displace the platinum dialed version in sales volume but is a nice understated version.

This site is pretty much a disaster on my wallet! This looks better than the blue dial!

New Yatch Master 2016

It seems they realized how successful this color scheme is after the OP. Good for them. I sure like it. However, I kind of wish they gave the YM a more defined (color) identity, its a bit neither here nor there and that won't change if they keep reshuffling its looks. I'm sure the red seconds hand would also have looked great on this (really cool) new dial. They should just have kept that.

Just my 2cts

Fred

Rumor is that the pt dial version is discontinued.

Pretty. I wonder how'd it look with a Carolina blue bezel insert.

The watch itself is fine, but if I am sailing (going tomorrow), I want something with a more distinct color scheme--the original, the blue dial, the rose gold, the yellow gold or the colors of the YMII. This is much more muted.

Yachtmaster is a beautiful watch, wish I had one.

Taking my Black Bay out tomorrow.

Hey isn't that Lambeau Field in your avatar? Go Pack!
Yes Sir! I visited the Cathedral in Green Bay 2013. Wild Card game versus 49ers, It was -22 wind chill that day. Icicles formed in the beer literally 3-5 mins after holding it. It was an amazing experience, I drove through the blizzard in PA and made it to GB one piece. There were various tractor trailers flipped over on the highway. Would risk my life again to see another GB Playoff game.

Yachtmaster's historically, at least the 16622 never really did well on the re-sale market. How do you think this one will fare?

Aren't they like $12,600 new...
