Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder and everyone has their own taste and nobody is right or not. I saw both the black and white dial today and all I can say to the fans out there. Pleeeease look at it before committing. I thought the watch photographs well but in the metal I sort of felt so what!! I definitely didn't have that emotional connection and was just very underwhelmed! Not sure what I was expecting but don't think I spent more than 15 seconds being polite before dashing upstairs! So before all the "haters" commence this is all IMHO s d carries the standard waivers that we don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings blah blah

Do you feel the same about all previous Daytonas too out of curiosity? Or just this new one?

I owned a YG with zenith movement. This I thought looked quite good in the pictures. I didn't think so in person. The bezel seems more Matt. So all I am saying in my view it's not as attractive as photos

TBH I feel the same way about these dials. The only one that really gets me going is the Panda, which will have to be modded.

That just seems nonsense to me.

If this is true I really can't understand the trouble to ship a watch without a movment especially when they have dozens of them lying in their selves...

It's awesome that we all look for different things in our timepieces. I, for one, am VERY glad that it looks more matte in person.

I appreciate you sharing your hands on impression. Thanks!
