Would you swap an original 5512 for a daytona cermaic?
No, I would not!
They are not building 4 digit Subs anymore and they keep appreciating. If you really want a 116500 find another route to acquire one. White dialed chrono would be a nice addition to your Sub 👍🏻

Nope. As much as I like the 116500, a 5512 like that may be even harder to get...though that won't change for the 5512 and the 116500 will only become more readily available if you can save up to have both.

Of course, all day everyday.
Is your 5512 authentic? Unpolished? OEM? Box? Papers? Last service? Lume and hands match? Pip matches? These are the questions a dealer would start with and vintage values are highly subjective. In contrast any dealer would offer a premium for any 116500.

Yes, I would without a doubt unless there's some sentimental value since to me the sub doesn't look like it have those sexy aging looks so i prefer the dayc

If you do, and have any affection for that 5512, you will regret it for sure...trust me.

If your 5512 is perfect due to the level of the vintage market , he is very high, i would sell her and buy the fantastic Daytona c
The 6 numbers have a better quality, the Daytona ss c is an icon, the watch of legends the 4 numbers are old with a cheap quality so sell her for a good price |

I wouldn't, save more and own both if you must.
