I was in a tattoo parlor in Brooklyn not too long ago. The place was totally old school with barber shop chairs and the most hipster looking guy owned the place. Beard, suspenders, vintage suit. The watch he was wearing with his rolled up sleeves and fully sleeved tattood arm was a vintage Datejust from the 60's, it could not have looked any better or more at home! Hipsters and Rolex? ABSOLUTLEY!!!!

At first I felt relieved that i'd finally got one after so many years.

Now I feel a little bit of pride and bucket loads of enjoyment.

Like a wannabe showoff loser.

Naaaa, only kidding. Feels good, kinda special. But it’s all in my head. It’s just a watch.

I used to feel guilty and think about the cost, now I can buy one and relax about the cost. For me it's a feeling of pride (proud of the watch) and accomplishment. It's nice to have a few luxuries to show for hard work.

Like I'm wearing just another watch...but a really good one. The only one that really makes me tingle is a Patek with a complication or three...that's a really special thing. But I think this is all perspective. Years ago I would have felt the same with a Rolex, just depends on where you are in life.

Makes me feel nice and a sense of accomplishment and reward for long years of hard work starting from school days.
When I wear it, I really feel happy and over the moon. Planning to buy my second rolex😁

I feel superior to anyone I come across, like other Rolex owners and German car drivers.

I'm joking

I feel proud of my accomplishments thus far, aware of my current goals, and happy I get to be the owner of such a great watch.

Well, it feels good. It feels good to wake up and decide which Rolex to wear today. It feels good to be wearing a mechanical watch that, properly serviced, will outlast me. I will add that what feels even better was being able to give one to my wife.

Feel?

It doesn't make me feel anything. It's simply makes me better than all the commoners around me. I see them with their Invictas, with their Michael Kors. All I have to do is pull my sleeve back and they cower before my mighty wrist. Those five letters raising me above the countless people I pass by each day.

Then I see a guy on the subway with a Patek. He looks down at my wrist, then right into my eyes, into my soul. He has won. I immediately collapse and start weeping uncontrollably.

All jokes aside, it makes me feel great when I'm alone wandering around and I look down at it. I appreciate it for what it is, an amazingly crafted piece of engineering that will last a lifetime. Can't really say that many other things.

When I'm around people, I tend to pull my sleeve down or turn my wrist away. I do get self conscious more than I like to admit. I don't feel bad for wearing a nice watch, but knowing in the back of my mind that there are so many people that have so much less bothers me to my core.
