I personally would not wear a watch with a bunch of stickers on it. I take them off.

I was so proud of my wife when she got her first Rolex and promptly started to remove the stickers once I had sized it for her. She dismissed my comment that she would likely miss a few and sure enough she forgot one sticker on the clasp.

It's not really my watch until the stickers are off. Never understood leaving the case back sticker on either. The bracelet doesn't even touch the case back when you're wearing the watch. And when you take it off with even just a little bit of care the clasp isn't going to scratch it. So unless it starts dancing around by itself in the drawer nothing is going to get scratched. And even if it does, who ever sees the case back?

Personally i take off all the stickers right away. Personally think its weird to keep the stickers on and wear the watch.

If bought at AD I wear it out with stickers then remove them as soon as I get home. If fedex then I remove them after trying it on for roughly 5 mins. Either way stickers come off same day.

if i were to leave stickers on it would be for the sole intent to keep in the box for re-sale sometime in the future. I would never wear WITH stickers.

I used to keep the plastic stickers on my watches, but they kept catching on the plastic slipcover on my sofa.

To me not peeling the stickers off of my watch is like never unpeeling the stickers from your New Era hat, or leaving the tags on your Ed Hardy t-shirt.

It's tacky. I does not compute.

If you are really concerned about watch safety one could always just leave it in the safe until you sell it, or keep it in the shipping coffin and tape that to your wrist. Conceptually, saran wrist wrapping is trending within that community too, or so I can assume.

This is crazy. It's a watch, wear it and use it to tell the time. It's not for worshipping, it's a watch.

I usually size the bracelet and then remove the stickers before wearing for the first time. Peeling those is like a ritual of making the watch your own.

Just today I finished removing the last stickers from this guy:

Off. Every single one of them. My AD offers to take them off, but I tell him to leave it so I can do it at home. I just get a weird sense of satisfaction by removing them myself.

I added black duck tape around the clasp to ensure I don't get any micro scratches from wear and tear!

So many stickers come on watches now it can be hard to get them all off. I wear an Oris Pointer Moon as my every day and after a year I noticed there was still a sticker on the clasp I hadn't removed. I was in a watch store at the time I noticed it and felt kind of stupid (not too much, lol).
