Now that the first scratch is out of the way, time to relax and wear it everywhere every day.

I wear mine on my left wrist. One side of the bracelet is perfect. The other has major desk rash. All good.

I am glad so many people are like me at first babied the watch now wear it as it's intent.
For me I think I babied my first luxury watch cause the price. I learned over the years anything is fixable and at worst that's why you have insurance. Scratches do not completely bother me, but maybe twice a year I use a scotch brite pad to clean it up a little. |

I remember scratching my Smurf clasp the day I got it.
Painful experience, still gives me shutters..LOL.. Luckily the clasp is not all that visible and the disappointment was gone the next day as I enjoyed my watch. Needless to say I have been practicing the Zen art of wrist awareness ever since. |

It gets easier and easier as the scratches pile on. No need to worry though, it means you are enjoying your watch!

You are all amazing on this group, but I still freak out at the sight of a scratch. I don't know how you all do it.

A daily wear stainless steel watch is a tool and will - should - get scratched with time.
It's like cars. You want a garage queen, then you leave it in the garage. If you want to use it like it was intended, then it will get scratched. |

Motorcycles get dirty, cars get rock chips, surfboards get dings because they're getting used. Enjoy the dings, nicks, and scratches. And if you're lucky each will have a story, if not, make one up. Personally I beat the crap put of my watches, not on purpose but because of my lifestyle. And in truth no Rolex I wear looks right to me without at least one terrible band scratch from a door jamb or some mundane other daily life hit.

Scratches are inevitable. It's like trying to keep your new car tires looking clean.

I'm one week in and essentially free from any, shall we say, "personalization" of my Explorer.

Dudes...boys...men...gentlemen, this watch looks much worse in the picture than it does on my wrist. 9 months of day and night wear. It looks simply beautiful

Wow I can't imagine the continuous paranoia you must employ when wearing your watch and keeping it that pristine. Do you wear it outside a padded room? I hope you enjoy wearing it.
