Sure, if you get rid of every Rolex forum that exists! It took me 36 years to get my first, and about 3 months to get my second and about the same for my third! Forums such as these are unhealthy for ones pocketbook!

another 20

My wife worked for a jewelry chain on the east coast handling Rolex and She waited until she found the right one which is an oyster perpetual datejust that has a gray face with a very attractive almost hologram looking lettering saying Rolex written in very small letters all over the face. I don't think I will ever stop wearing it.

I've had the same DJ for 28 years, so I guess you can.

Could do it, and probably will with my DJ and Sub because Rolex is getting so expensive it's hard to justify another, even if trading one in on a new one. I look at mine and am just grateful I have them. $8,000 or more for a stainless steel watch, for that price what I have is all the Rolex I need. Am seriously considering Omega for the next watch.

There is not a day that goes by where I dont check out new postings and new watches in production, however, I do not make enough money to keep buying new ones. I love the lv sub and of course, as its my first, I hope to hold on to it for a lot more than 10 years. Although, I catch myself thinking of buying a another when the lv gets its service and spa treatment down the line.

why not, I plan to let my 16613 slip into vintage status, though that will probably take 40 years LOL

I wore my speedy pro every day for 11 years. I didn't think I needed another watch, until the penny dropped and I searched for and found the *exact* watch I needed all along, my 16750.

The GMT is in for service now but it's taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r to come back. I'm wearing the Speedy every day, and I still love it but waiting for the GMT to come back is murder. I will keep both watches forever, and pass the on to my children

The only question is....can I resist buying a sub? I'm kind of thinking I won't be able to since the early 16610 or late 16800 can be had for $3K-ish...or maybe a Tudor sub to mix things up a bit...aaggh!

I did with my 16613 TT Sub. Thirteen years before I caved in and got an Omega GMT. My Son has asked for the Sub., so in about six years I'll be back to one watch.
