17 years young, worked Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon at a Union 76 gasoline station here in Northern California, as a service attendant. Station had 4 service bays (2 self and 2 full), was high volume and was close by a freeway. 4 of us were on duty at all times and we always had fun.

12 worked as an electrician(on and off till mid 20's. Still have life long skills!). Physical day bending pipe and wiring businesses. Taught me work ethic.
14 emptied newspapers from truck to the local delivery people.14-15 stocked shelves at a retail store. 16 valet car attendant at very exclusive country club. Only worked weekends. 7AM to Midnight on Saturday,7-7 Sunday. The usual cars that we discuss here. Also owners of major businesses, sports teams, and benefactors of US institutions. I liked cars before this, but it did help! |

At 13, a friend and I started a window cleaning round. My favourite job was in a summer break when I was a student and I worked in a holiday camp. My worst experience was working in a factory for 6 weeks during another summer break which reinforced my determination to finish University and get a good job.

I was 14/15 years old picking some of the best broad leaf shade tobacco in the country.
The hours were long, the work was dirty, but the more you picked the more money you could make.

Paper route when I was 10 years old. After the first year I had 200+ customers delivering after school on weekdays and on Sunday mornings. Saved enough in three years to pay cash for my first motorcycle. 😄
