My wife started with an AK34 and then went back to the DJ26mm.

(Must say> she has very tiny wrists)

ladies size would be considered from 26mm to 36mm, but some ladies are rocking man-size watch which are 40mm or over.....just depending on who's wearing it.....

but the perfect norm size would be 31mm, which is the average size

kylie jenner has been recently spotted wearing a 28mm rolex recently and it looks great on her. 26mm or 28mm looks nice and subtle.

At the moment the trend is for a 36mm up to a 40mm for ladies..

My wife is 5’0”, 86 lbs. 36-40mm is just oafish, regardless of what’s “in”.

In fairness I do see your point, my wife is of normal height and build so a 36mm is far more likely to look fine.. I will be sure to mention to her though that her personal preference makes her look ‘oafish’ though. Cheers

That looks fine to me. I meant for a person my wife’s size.

My wife wears a 26mm DJ and she loves it. She is in her mid-30's and doesn't think it looks old at all. Different strokes for different folks. With my wife's wrist size it really works well on her.

Ladies watches don't hold their value as well as mens. That pretty much is a rule just as if you want an investment buy stocks, bonds or real estate.
With regard to women and watches-Have them try on the various sizes before purchase. It is not so much the size they like as the size they like to wear!Nothing could be worse than the purchase of a watch that stays in the jewelry box all the time because it is too large or small.

I think that comfort is more important then fashion trend;
If a person ( male or female) feels truly comfortable and CONFIDENT wearing their preferred size,, that watch will look fantastic on them !

My wife prefers the smaller sizes and the great part about that is, there are real bargains available in the preowned market. She now has two 29mm Pearlmasters and two 26mm DateJusts.

The 26mm is a classic size, it will never lose favour. The new 28mm datejust looks barely any larger (but has a rather flimsy bracelet compared to the previous 26mm model). I used to own the 26, then the 31 (too heavy on my sparrow wrists) and now the 28.

Yeah, but she is also 5’10” = 1.77m, so she is pretty tall with big wrists. 33 or 36 mm would look good on her too. The DSSD looks like an anchor on her.

I was checking our my work colleague's DJ today, 26mm... It looked tiny on her wrist. Nah, even on a girl's wrist it's just too small.

I feel like a 36mm DJ is like us guys wearing a big sports watch. Great casual look but not as elegant with a dress.

Hello,

I disagree that a smaller rolex looks "old." I am in my late 30's and I have a 36mm two tone datejust with a dark grey dial. I am getting over the big watch look. I recently purchased an all stainless silver dial 28mm for daily use and I am loving the size! Next on my list is a two tone white dial, however, I am conflicted on which size to purchase. I want it to be on the elegant side. Do you think a 31mm would look sporty or should I stick to a 28mm again?

Thanks!

26mm is making a comeback to be worn "stacked" and I love that! I wanted something I can wear everyday only taking off to jump in the pool AND it's super comfortable. I tried on the 36mm dj and felt it bulky and uncomfortable, I felt the same way about my Kermit which was a gift, I didn't choose it.
I'd like to know how many women wear 36+ because their other halfs chose it.
