If you want to stand out, the green really pops. Black is more on the understated classic side.

I admit, everything about the idea of buying a green watch repulsed me. Then one day I saw it in person and just felt something special from it.

Almost 3 years in of ownership and it's hands down my favorite watch.

Kind regards, Steve.

DEF black!
Never got the green personally and doesn't go with evrything you wear.
Black does. Always. Timeless and classy.

I have a black and a green Sub and have to admit the black is more versatile for daily wear. But the LVc Sub is amazing, especially in the summer when the green sunray dial can vary from almost black to brilliant emerald green, just stunning! Cheers!

Only go for the LVc if you have another Rolex, it's not a one and only imo. My LVc complements my BLNR.

I love my LVc but the LN is my grail piece. If at all possible, try and find a way to have both.

What I will say is tits to those who say the green is difficult to match with one's attire. Mine gets the most wrist time and I've worn it on all sorts of occasions from work, to casual, to formal to scruffy. It's a Rolex; it goes with everything by default.

Yes it's a Rolex and yea you can wear the LV with any / all attire. But if you want to convince me (no offense and my personal view) that the LV fits in better than an LN, I would respectfully have to call BS.

Owned them both at the same time for many years, and to some degree still do, as a few years back I added the SDC4K to the mix and eventually decided I liked the SDC4k more than the 116610 LN, so got rid of the Sub. That said, you can't go wrong with either choice. The LVC is a special watch and I would have no problem owning as my one and only, but I have to say the Black Sub and or the SD get most of the wrist time due to black being more versatile!

Congrats Steve!

Try to add the LVc or BLNR (or both) in the future. Both are great looking.

Good choice Steve

The black is timeless and a true classic, it's definitely a good idea to add the LVc instead of making it your one and only

I have no interest in convincing you of anything; that's the job of your wife / partner / boss / parents / kids, etc. I wear my LVc with what I like because I can; same as I do with my other watches. I could not care less what anyone else thinks and neither should the OP, nor anyone else for that matter.

Call away mate, call away. To each his own
